Hello Ade Laoye, it’s a pleasure to have you here. How have you been?
Thanks for having me! I’ve been doing well, thank you.
How would you describe yourself?
I’m a unicorn. JK! I’m an easy going, sometimes outspoken, often dramatic, very animated, ice cream loving free spirit.
Tell us about the new projects you’ve been working on
Upcoming projects: a new webseries – Inspector K, Gidi Up Season 3, a Kunle Afolayan movie – Tribunal. Updates coming soon!

Each project is unique. You’ll get to see me play some fun, quirky characters. It’ll be awesome.
What will you say is responsible for your success as an actor so far?
Passion, persistence, talent, training, timing, rejection, prayer
What keeps you going when the odds are down?
Believing that everything happens for a reason and nothing lasts forever.
When is your birthday and what movie/play was ur first?
April 5. My first professional show was a musical: “Caroline or Change” at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia.
What is your biggest dream as an actor and what type of character are you dying to play?
To have my work seen globally; would love to be on Broadway someday. I’d like to play a correct market woman. Fun!
If you were to choose between music and acting, what would it be?
Career wise, acting; I can’t imagine never being able to sing though. Music is life.
What kind of man gets your attention?
Who would you love to work with? That one person you can’t wait to work with.

What advice do you have for women (and men) who desire to follow your path?
Don’t follow my path, follow yours. Go after what you want. You learn a lot from failure. Network and Work hard. Be kind.
