How did music start for you?
For us, music has always been there, somewhere in the background. All of our siblings are musically inclined, so we grew up knowing that at some point in time we’d start up our music career. It was just a matter of time. Of course we had to finish with school and NYSC first.
Does your background have anything to do with your career?
It definitely helps that our siblings are singers, we have our personal choir in our home and our parents are  very supportive of our music career, so yes, it had something to do with our background.
What does it feel like, making music with each other (being twins)
It’s fantastic!  As a twin, you grow up sharing practically everything and this is just one more amazing thing we get to experience together.
Briefly, your Project Fame experience, how has it helped you?
We learnt a lot from the PFAME Academy. It was like a proper music school. We had music and business gurus come in to lecture us and so many values were instilled in us. I wish every musician could go through that. It builds character. And helps you keep your head through the jungle . The music business  is a full time jungle!
Asides Music what else do you do?
Oh plenty! We’re both actresses and we star in the new musical TV series INDUSTREET directed and produced by the CEOs of Scene One Productions; MR. JJC SKILLZ and MRS. FUNKE AKINDELE BELLO. Asides that, I studied Foreign Languages, so i work with international companies on document translation in my spare time. Rubee is a fashion blogger, we’re both writers and we work on voice overs and jingles for companies.
How do you manage to combine them?
It’s not easy, but we make sure music takes the fore-front. Every other thing is to support the music!
What challenges have you faced so far in your career?
There are lots of challenges in the entertainment industry. Everyone goes through some sort of challenge or the other, but at the end of the day, it redefines an artiste and once you can overcome a challenge you become even better.
And how did you overcome them?
Through Faith in God, Passion for the music, Hardwork and Determination.
Who/What inspires the most?
Our family. When we think of how much they’ve prayed for us, how much they’ve sacrificed, and all the expectations they have for us, it pushes us to work harder and never give up.
You recently got signed to SOP Records, how did the link come about, and how has the SOP journey been?
God made it possible! The journey has been exciting so far, it’s a huge deal for us and we’ve experienced so much already. Needless to say, SOP Records is a real family and it has been a blessing to us! Shoutout to Uncle SKILLZ and Aunty Funke for deeming us worthy to work with them.
What can you say about your label mates?
They’re amazing! Asides us there are 3 guys, MO EAZY, SONOROUS and MARTINS FEELZ. They’re our brothers and protectors and body guards. Lol. They’re so talented. Each one of them brings a new feel and they have so much to offer. Sometimes we just sit with anyone of them in the studio to be inspired. The world isn’t even ready for them yet. They’re so funny too!!! There’s never a dull moment in our little family.
Who do you look up to in the industry?
So many people. Where we come from, there’s an adage that says ‘He who asks for directions, can never get lost’, so that’s what we’re about. People who have been in the industry and have garnered experience are our tutors basically. The list is really long! There’s Uncle SKILLZ; who has been in the industry for such a long time and has tutored others, there’s TuFace Idibia, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Dare Art Alade, Johnny Drille, Falz, basically everyone ahead of us on this ladder. Internationally, there are too many to mention. We learn something from everyone.
Your Industreet experience?
Wow! INDUSTREET was such a wawu! It was our first time as actresses so we made some mistakes, learnt a lot along the way. It was really exciting because we’ve always been interested in acting and it was an opportunity to explore that area
What’s your next project, what should your fans looks out for?
Well, our debut single FEVER has just been released so we’re pushing that as much as possible, and we have a lot of surprises up our sleeves for you guys. Just be on the lookout for the GEMSTONES
Any relationships?
Yes, Chris Brown and Idris Elba. LOL!
Your strengths?
God and each other.
Advice to those looking up to you already
Don’t be in a hurry to hit the top of the ladder. It’s a process and for every step on the ladder, there’s something you’re supposed to learn that’ll help you reach the top. Don’t despise your humble beginnings. That way you’ll appreciate the success when it comes.
