Kemi Olunloyo regains freedom

Controversial journalist and blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has been releasedfrom the Port Harcout prison after meeting her bail conditions on Monday.

Punch reports:

Olunloyo, who finally regained her freedom around 3pm, was few weeks ago, granted bail by the court, but had some issues with meeting some of the bail conditions read to her by the court.

The daughter of the Second Republic governor of old Oyo State, Omololu Olunloyo was arrested in Lagos and arraigned in a Federal High Court in Rivers State for alleged cybercrime based on a news item she published online believed to have defamed a Port Harcourt-based cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
